Lakefront
A city with a front porch on the lake
St. Cloud's whole identity leans toward East Lake Toho: a lakefront park with a marina and beach, public ramps, and some of the Kissimmee Chain's best-known bass water.

East Lake Toho, up close
Founded in 1909 as a Grand Army of the Republic colony — "Soldier City" — St. Cloud grew up along the southern shore of East Lake Tohopekaliga, and the shoreline is still where the city gathers. Lakefront Park runs more than two miles with a marina, sand beach, splash pad, and fishing pier, and public ramps put boats on an 11,968-acre lake known nationally for its bass fishery.
The state has run habitat-enhancement work on the lake since 2019, which is worth knowing before a fishing trip — the official pages below carry the current status.
